Rising Conversations at Guinness Storehouse
Guinness PremiumGuinness Storehouse
Guinness PremiumGuinness Storehouse
Join us in the Guinness Storehouse Gravity Bar for an engaging conversation moderated by Michael McDermott, exploring the importance of making space for visual arts in Dublin and the legacy of ROSC and Guinness’s longstanding role in supporting contemporary art.
Eibhlin Colgan, Guinness Archivist, will offer a historical perspective on Guinness’s patronage of the arts, including the landmark ROSC exhibitions in the Guinness Hopstore that inspired the Landmarks exhibition for Dublin Gallery Weekend. Annie Fletcher, Director of the Irish Museum of Modern Art, will share insight into IMMA’s commitment to supporting contemporary artists, highlighting opportunities created within the museum and beyond its walls, as seen in initiatives such as These Walls. Artists Hazel O'Sullivan and Niall de Buitléar will discuss their Guinness Storehouse-funded commission, reflecting on the historical significance of ROSC and its contemporary resonance.
Following the discussion, guests are invited on a guided tour of the Guinness Storehouse led by Michael McDermott and Eibhlin Colgan. Tracing installations and permanent works from the Gravity Bar down to the main exit, the tour offers an immersive encounter with the Storehouse’s creative legacy.
Doors open at 8am. Last admission at 8:15am.

Visita guiada
Join us for a guided tour through the streets of The Liberties as we chart Guinness’s centuries-old legacy of supporting the arts. Delve into the storied streets around St. James’ Gate and discover vibrant new pieces from These Walls artists, existing large-scale contemporary works by artists such as Aches, and often overlooked remnants of artistic history nestled in these historic streets.
Featuring new work from Deirdre Breen, Owen de Forge, Alice Rekab, Thaís Muniz, Venus Patel and Farouk Alao, this walking tour showcases a dynamic range of artistic styles and approaches, offering insight into the creative processes behind each piece and the local stories they reflect. From bold abstraction to intimate portraiture, every work speaks to the unique character and cultural fabric of the neighbourhood.
For the final stop of their tour, guests will enter the Guinness Storehouse to view These Walls: Landmarks, an exhibition featuring new work by Hazel O'Sullivan and Niall de Buitléar that explores the legacy of ROSC on the Irish visual art world and beyond.
